WHO WAS THE LAST INDEPENDENT NAWAB OF BENGAL:-

         SIRAJ UD - DUALAH

Mirza Muhammad SIRAJ UD- DUALAH ,commonly known as Siraj ud dualah, was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. The end of his Reign marked the start of British East India company Rule over Bengal and later almost all of the Indian Subcontinent. 

SIRAJ UD- DUALAH after the battle of PALASHI, 23 june 1757.
In which siraj ud dualah was defeated and subsequently murdered.The British became the virtual masters of Bengal, reducing the later Nawab to mere puppets in their hands.
